75 petrol 1.8 water leak
My car I had to top up regular as no visible water leak
Now dripping water down not sure where it’s coming from I’ll try and take video or photo to see. Any ideas is there a Common Fault here please?? |

Inlet manifold gasket, tends to run down the bell housing & drip, when the engine is warm, the coolant evaporates, so hard to see. The water pump, or thermostat to name a few. Good luck

To eliminate guesswork get your local garage to put her on ramps and do a coolant pressure test - basically engine on to see where the coolant is coming from - should be easy to see once the undertray is off. As mentioned usual suspects are inlet manifold gasket, water pump etc - but also don't forget the original MGR rubber coolant hose do perish eventually and will leak - the plastic T piece just behind the radiator LHS as you look at the engine is a common hose failure point.
