Smile White icons.

I am using Windows 10 on my pc, all my shortcuts have suddenly lost their images and have turned white, they still work when clicked, any advice on how to get the images back please?. Thanks, John.

Sounds like your icon cache has corrupted. There's a guide on Win Ten Forums that explains how to rebuild the cache here.

Not tried it myself, so can't comment of how reliable it is, but the folk on the Win Ten forums usually know their stuff.

Hi Cliff, My grandson told me to do a System Restore and it worked great, all icons are coloured again. Thanks for your help. John.
