Default Wheel refurbishment discount for members

Hi All
I have today met with Peter Newman from the Ferndown (Bournemouth) branch of The Wheel Specialist www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk and I have been able to arrange a 15% discount on wheel refurbishment for subscribed members of the 75-ZT owners club..
Terms of discount as below
(1) Discount is only available to subscribed club members
(2) This offer only applies to the Ferndown(Bournemouth) branch of The Wheel Specialist
(3) Members must contact Peter Newman on 01202 875553 [email protected] to get a quote for any work and then contact me by PM to get the discount code
Although they are normaly closed on Sundays Peter is happy to open one Sunday to host a local meet so that members can have a look around the premises and see the options for colour and finishes...Subject to interest I am happy to arrange a meet there in late April, probably a morning meet followed by lunch somewhere close by.
I hope in the future to arrange club discounts with other buisinesses in the area..
Cheers Ian

Sounds good!
Any idea how much 1 wheel would cost?

I did get a Quote from The Wheel Specialist, but in Fareham, to get my 17" TSW's refurbished and I was quoted £393.60 (Cough-Cough)... Hopefully Bournemouth will be different....

Yes good work ian but as Bill says does sound a tad expensive I have looked into for my 16" 10 spoke wheels and was £50 per wheel for full stripping and damage filling and repraying plus a set of wheels to tide you over while the are being done so 4 wheels inc VAT £240 which seems fair to me I also have a quote of £200 plus £100 for alloygators to perserve new rims for for £360 anyone in north london considering getting them done feel free to contacy me for details

Mmm

Saw these guys recently, seems standard price is something like £95 per wheel, I was offered 20% discount without asking. Was still high and then I got them down to £300 for five wheels which were loose BTW.

Asked about tyre prices, said they would get back to me and took three days,

Seeing as I turned up with wheels in car and the place was dead they didnt seem very keen.

Plus I have had 5 wheels done at some place in Luton last year for £225, nearly better off going there!!!!

I didn't want to mention it really but subsequent to that quote I got quoted £264.00 for the same job from here: http://www.smartalloyhampshire.co.uk/index.html

Hi Again
I visited them today purely to get a quote for my wheels and after telling the guy about the club he offered the deal which I have passed on to try to help local members..
Maybe I should'nt have bothered because as usual everyone else has had a better deal elsewhere...
In my opinion having seen what they do I think that their prices stand up well against the £40ish per wheel quotes for just repainting, the wheels are stripped back to bare alloy before being powder coated and finished to customer requirements. I'm certainly not putting pressure on anyone to use them, all I have done is put an offer in place I get nothing out of it at all..It's your money guys you spend it where you like makes no difference to me.
Cheers Ian
