Sony CDX-GT50UI Head unit and RC Question?

Will one of these fit in the Rover 75 facelift ( 05 model) without too much pain and will the steering wheel controls work? I'm a technophobe but have fitted radios in cars years ago.

I have the standard CD radio at present.

Moved to "ICE" for better coverage. You can fit just about any head unit, all you need would be the correct harness, which you probably have, & a steering wheel adapter harness from somewhere like here
I have a Pioneer DAB in mine, very similar to that Sony
