MG ZT-T 190+,Rover 800 vitesse coupe

Default rear tourer spring

Well stripped my suspension arm out and the spring has snapped approx 3" along from the top, so do i fit a used one that i have or bite the bullet and order a new pair and if so could i get some help on which ones to go for ?

Should be a label under your rear seat passenger side . It tells you the code for the spring ( sport or comfort) .

i would bite the bullet and replace both with new i did my front ones about 2 weeks ago as one had broken as atcchus suggested the label is under the rear seat rgds mark

if money is tight try a good second hand one, if money is available fit a pair of new springs. Your springs may also have a colour code on them, 2 small strokes of paint.

Just bang your good s/h spring in, there’s very little difference between the various springs.........most aftermarket ones are “universal” anyway, they don’t have variants like the originals, there’s 2 types, 75 or ZT, & they supply the same spring for saloon or tourer

I've got a new pair or ZT-T springs for sale I would say boxed but the box has fallen apart. PM me if your interested.
