Default Gene Reynolds M*A*S*H

Gene Reynolds co creator of the TV series offshoot from the film has died aged 96. Loved the series.

Still watch the occaisional episode now but seriously dislike the canned laughter.

How the BBC showed it in the U.K. was so much better without it.

American friends over here at the time also remarked how much better it was and how the often serious side of the show worked so much better with “quiet” humour instead of inappropriate laughter.

Great show - still remember watching the very last one with friends - quite an event.

Cool

Sad news but a very good innings. Loved watching the show without the canned laughter. Used to have the soundtrack but lost it somewhere. Used to love the track “ Suicide is painless”, for whatever reason.
