Default Fbh timer question

Just brought another Mg zt which has a FBH but no timer. My other mg zt has the timer etc in the cubby. Is it easy to swap the timers over? Do you need to swap the telestart box over also? I want to be able to start the timer easily in the new ZT as I'm selling my other one 🙂

Save yourself the hassle and put a 12v remote switch in the new car. A single channel unit is only £10 from EBay and is simple to fit. My car is on the driveway, but the remote works from up to 100 yards away. Leave the telestart as a selling point in the old car, it's an attractive feature this time of year.

I have a Webasto timer and loom but no telestart. I was thinking of fitting the timer. Lee, if there a how-to on fitting this to the webasto please?

I am with Lee. Webasto controller on a 75 is like putting a tuxedo on a wheelie bin. A single channel RX/Tx turns it on just the same. Timer is ok if you go out to the car at the set time. With a GSM, you have better timer control
