Is this a quality bush?

Fitted quite a few of those now and all have been good but like so many other "brands" and that includes MGRover, you get whatever they can buy in for rebranding e.g. The last pair i had from X-Part where EXACTLY the same items as the Autonational supplied parts.

Well Unipart was a decent brand, whether it still is is debatable like so many other brands. I bought a Unipart front wishbone a few months ago and must admit, it did look a quality item.

That bush seems silly cheap though.

I'd personally go for these: https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...1760-rbx101770

In fact I did.

Found some Mayle ones on the bay for £49. Always found this a good quality brand, I've bought them for mine!

Decent quality bush but occasionally they sound out a duff which has less rubber and sits loosely on the arm, so just check when it arrives.

Thanks for your replies. I put a pair of delphi ones on three years ago, have never been happy with them, compared to the ones I took off they were lightweight. The tourer is coming off the road in a couple of months will be going through everything. I really don't want to do the job more than once more.

Just an observation. The factory fitted bushes weren't perforated in the jolding bracket. I notice most aftermarket ones are, which means a small cost and weight reduction. Whether all units available these days have the holes, I don't know. I don't think the ones I got from DMGRS were.

Unipart/firstline/Borg and Beck all the same bushes

What you need to look out for is the laser cut serial numbers on the cast iron loop, and the length of the void.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy Unipart stuff, they were then, as XPart are now.

Don't be put off by the price, Unipart (see Andrew Page) are offloading their redundant stock, so time to stock up for the future, depending on how long you intend keeping your car
