Default Getting old is no fun. Admitted to Hospital

Admitted to Hospital Friday with acute abdominal pains. Never known pain like it. Seemingly at one point my temp was 39.3
Sick of needles tubes and cameras . Mosy likely cuprit I am told is gallbladder but the first ultrasound scan didn't show any stones etc. Next on the list is an MRI scan....

Not just an age thing, same thing happened to me when I was still in my twenties. Was rushed into the emergency surgical assessment ward and spent the next 4 days in hospital being prodded, poked and scanned. Still no idea what the problem was as eventually the pain subsided and I discharged myself. Never had it again since then.

Could be a sharp intake of breath when he plugs it in!

Hope you get sorted Dave, hospital isn't a pleasant place to be.

Oh no Dave!!! I was admitted when my baby was only 12 weeks, suspected gall stones turned out to be pancreatitis! Like you, I've never felt pain like it. As I was still pretty stout from recently having a baby, I'm sure the taxi driving thought I was in labour, although I was throwing up into a basin. Worst thing was the taxi driver was an ex boyfriend so doubly embarrassing.

Anyway, I hope they get to the bottom of it and get you sorted and released quickly! Lots of love to you xxx
