Morning all, Another wild & windy night here too Andy, It's still quite strong and bending the trees across the back.
Another couch potato day me thinks.

Morning all, ‘twas bright and sunny about 30 minutes ago before I got up, now it’s blowing a gale and hammering down with rain, much to my annoyance as I need to wash the van ready for the new buyer. I emptied it of all my equipment yesterday afternoon, now it just needs the load space floor dried and a good wash as it’s being collected first thing Monday morning.

Quite windy out there now, I’ve just had the dogs out for an hour and walking into the headwind was a bit of a challenge.

Work this morning, then I took the oldies out for a run in the new popemobile, didn’t get to stop off anywhere as it was just a bit too cold, then had a trip up to Elsdon to collect a Mk3 Astra Estate which my mate has just bought for the engine, I always get the job of driving his purchases home, they’re usually of questionable roadworthiness, the Astra has a snapped clutch cable & the brakes left a lot to be desired.
Anything to keep my mind occupied though, it takes away the pain of being homeless

I don’t know if I dare tell you about some of the cars I’ve picked up for him, I collected a big old Merc estate one night & the bloke he bought it off said,”it does have some brakes but I probably wouldn’t recommend using them”
