I managed an hour out with the dogs this morning before the rain came, stayed in all day, haven't done a thing on the cars.
Brownie points earned for all the housework I have done though

I got the confused mess of pipes to reach their intended destinations on the 75 this afternoon, anyone who’s had the intake & boost pipes off a 1.8 turbo will know exactly what I mean, got the front end on the car & even managed a small road test, it performed rather well with no obvious leaks up to now, I think there’s still some air trapped in the cooling system so I’ll have to have another go at it. Other than that I’m quite pleased with it. Got a couple of small jobs to do before I can get an mot on it, exhaust needs aligning/securing as it bangs on the tunnel & the old favourite handbrake doesn’t hold........no surprise there then

Good morning all
An early start at 02:00 for the 5 a.m flight tomorrow to London via Addis Ababa. I should be able to make it, weather permitting What’s everyone up to? |

Morning Phil and Bob, morning all
Rain has relented for the moment here but it is still rather windy. I'm working this morning/afternoon so I think I better take my foul weather gear with me

Quite pleasant here this morning, I should really go & do a bit more on that rover but I’ve never had a day off for at least 4 weeks. I’m under no pressure to do it because I’m running around in Mother Diesels’ little Skoda & quite enjoying it but I really should hand it back I suppose

Morning all, what a wild night, The rain has been hammering against the window all night, There's a pool of water at the patio doors going into the conservatory where the wind has forced the rain under the lead flashing & the kitchen windowsill is awash again. The storm winds are driving the rain through some dodgy mortar joints but that's a job for Mungo Jerry weather.
