Good morning all, what’s everyone up to?

Torrential and heavy rains all last night. This morning I went downstairs to find the stairs and the kitchen flooded. Fortunately, I brought out an excellent mop and bucket from the UK in my luggage which should be up to the task. The local mop heads here are of the non-squeeze type and are made of string. Ideally we need an RWPC.......

Richard, I am sorry to hear about your work van. You can always sell your runabout when your inheritance comes through. It took about 4-5 months for probate to be agreed when Ed and myself administered Woofs estate, then we sorted out the bequests and kept some money back for unexpected bills.

Once your Aunt’s affairs have been sorted out, then you can get back on track with your other priorities.

Morning Bob - nice to see you're having healthy breakfasts - I often slice a banana into my porridge

Morning all, It's dry & windy here. Looks like healthy brekkies all round, I'm having fruit & fibre cereal this morning.

All bequests have been done Phil, the remainder comes to me and a relative of my late uncle. I spoke with the solicitor last week and she said she was trying to contact the person who assisted my aunt with my late uncle’s estate, so we can try and avoid paying a 6 figure sum of inheritance tax. This is paid at 40% on anything over a certain amount. Once that is sorted we can apply for probate, once it is granted, we can put the house up for sale.

Same here Andy, although we have had a few showers mixed in with it.

Afternoon all, I've been busy in the greenhouse planting out seeds in trays & propagators, I was going to wash the car by that strong wind is getting wilder & it's cold too.

I don't get it all just 50%, there is another beneficiary. So it might just be 1 pint of lager Steve
