Morning all, cool a bit but dry here this morning, don’t think it’s set to stay like this though, I believe it’s meant to be pleuting down today.
I’m guessing mother D is managing ok with her new wheels as she hasn’t been on the phone yet, just as well really cos I’ve got her other car since the demise of my V70

Good morning Bob, good morning Col, good morning Richard, what are you up to today?

Yesterday, I had to take the 4x4 for a valuation, engineers report and a test drive. The report is then sent to the insurance company who then issue a valuation certificate. The idea behind this is, it less of a dispute in the event of a claim to get them to pay up. I have to do this every year in order to get a car insurance disc which by law has to be displayed on the front windscreen, is due by 7 Feb.

The government did away with road tax, but car insurance is mandatory.

On the way back from the valuation, I was pulled over by 3 police who wanted me to give them a lift. At least they did not ask me for a bribe. I could not help them as I was going in another direction, shame but as I pulled away I saw they found another target.

Just been to let the hens out, reasonably mild today, but wind is still cool. Van going to garage today for new anti roll bar bushes and get the rear brakes checked and set up. Later next month it will need the cam belt and water pump done, before then I will service it myself, then in April it needs its MOT. I hope by then I will have my inheritance and can buy a new van.

Morning folks - tail end Charlie last in for breakfast as usual
Bit of a grey day, with a strong, gusty and cold wind from the West. I've sent the missus off to market again to day (as I do every Thursday) - let's see if anyone puts in a bid this week

Better moths as it's really hard to get woolly mammoths into your wallet.

I know; I've tried.---

Well I have had to change plans, the lad at the garage wasn't at work when I called to book the van in. He forgot to book it in on his return to work so going in tomorrow instead.
