The Tourer is great to carry 2.4mtr lengths of wood so basically spent 4 hours running around in the Tourer with no aches or pains after only to my wallet after forking out for the timber, at least it worked out cheaper than buying a 13ft x 8ft shed which most places wanted £995 for

building it your self is much more satisfying and you can had as many windows as you would like
Just been looking at prices on sheds and they have definitely increased a few years ago I had a heavy duty one made 12x10 with double doors, delivered and erected for less than £800 I couldn't even buy the wood for what they made it for.

Checked fluids, tyres, and although I rodded plenums a couple of weeks ago thought I might as well check. Gallons of water running for minutes over the car park yet the last few times everything has been clear. Just goes to emphasise that this needs doing regularly. Thanks for the spyhole mod Steve (Arctic).

Noticed yesterday that the tailgate won’t open, a long press on the remote unlock button opens the tailgate so I suspect it’s the plinth button. Stripped out the tailgate trim and was going to check for continuity when the button is operated but it’s far too cold so back inside for a cuppa

Went to tackle the ever present airbag light on Debs ztt, only to be met with a rounded off seat bolt.

Half an hour to drill the bolt out and use an eezi out to remove the little blighter and it was on with the soldering job.

Got a rag out and cleaned the duotone.
Clayed via the mitt, polished and waxed.

Resurrected the tourer via jump leads, as it has been lying up all winter.
Forgot how nice this is to drive.

Didn’t do anything to the gold saloon.🙄

Washed off this morning the 1600 miles worth of road dirt that has accumulated since I last washed it on Saturday gone, chucked a couple of paracetamol and ibuprofen tablet down my neck and headed to Walworth Castle for the day.

Had a jolly nice time, and only started to flag at about 5PM, still I've a quiet day work wise tomorrow, so perhaps I'll finish off the sill repair and see about getting the old man's tourer tested.

HI Martin.
Get Steve to get under the car with a pair of sharp scissors, or wire cutters and cut off 15mm of the plenum tube sticking out it will stop them sticking together causing the back log of water

You'd be spot on, I've just updated the projects page.

Long story short it's the most crucial and difficult to replicate part of the manifold, the rest of it will just be tubes and a plenum/chamber which in comparison will easier. The part you see here will be the basis for making a mould which will hopefully be done within a week
