I fitted the clutch so only myself to blame the kit was a borg and beck one and the input shaft was greased with the supplied sachet will just suffer it until it gets undriveable, I'm currently in Filey with the kids a friend is looking after the pooch and sent me the photo, I am back home tomorrow so can test out my new polisher see what it's like after and speak with neighbours see if anything was seen, just definitely put a downer on the last night another job I didn't need to add to the list

A strongly worded email has been sent to yodel and I have said I have proof so hopefully that just prompts the driver into admitting liability so until I get a response I won't be touching it fingers crossed.

Hopefully you will get them to own up.

Went to see Tom Hobb's yesterday to get a sill welded and ended up playing were my jacking point gone ?.

Of the 30 odd sills he's done guess who's was the worst he'd seen

All sorted after 7hrs of work though, will post the progress photos when I get them

Yep, that’s the worst one I have seen too!!

Usually the jacking point remains intact, I’m sure Tom will have it as good as new shortly.

Hi Scott.
Wow that is/was a lot worse than my sills, but having said that even on mine you could see the jacking point had started to rust, all these cars are going to have the same problem as time goes on, i would think that Tom could be in work for quite a few years from all the sills he will have to repair if owners decide to go down the route of repairing them.

It will be good to see the before and after photo's together cheers Arctic.

Checked the timing for the 4th or 5th time since replacing the cylinder head, just to absolutely rule that out as a cause for my cold rough running.

Thought it was fine the last 3 or 4 times I checked, this time it appears to be a tooth out. Didn't have my locking tool to hand, so next weekend I'll have to have a go at getting it timed properly.
