Default Tourer rear springs and shocks

My 75 tourer rear springs have broken and a misting of oil on the dampers so best of replacing, I remember a recent thread about BMW touring dampers and springs on ebay for a great price but can't find it, also is it worth replacing the rear strut top mount whilst in there or leave them be I've not read anything about them failing unlike the fronts.

I'm just finishing that job at the moment complete new rear end on my mg zt-t and I have gone down the route of BMW e46 springs and shockers, now I can't like or dislike as I won't be finished till this weekend but all went back together without any problems (well almost).

Which shocks did you choose I have seen these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-SER...gAAOSw5cRZEGsR and at £63 for the shocks and springs and 2 year warranty don't think I can go far wrong.

I would avoid the shocks as we found out at the weekend as the bottom bush is smaller than the rover one not by much so pact it with a washer or too plus you will need to drill out that bush to 14mm as I say can't say what there like as still on blocks but people have used them with no problem .if I get a year out of them not a problem for that money.

It’s up to you if you want to risk the top mount.....
