Hi Mat.
Now that is good to know & I am sure you would sell them easy, once they go up for sale.

I’ll keep them safe until an OE-enthusiast needs them - we don’t have many, and I know a few members are fastidious about original parts.

The item that bought from our store is a new batch from the supplier. After testing them, we found they are the defective ones. We contacted the supplier, but they told us that they don't have this item available now. How about full refund you in order to protect your benefits ? Thank you.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards.
And my reply to the same message was as follows...

Oh dear that is a shame I was looking forward to receiving these for evaluation purposes, however in regard to the items being from a defective batch, can I suggest you simply substitute the defective ones with the product you are selling in eBay item number 192574111891.

I look forward to your positive response.

Brian

Mind you I only ordered two, so we will see what they say

And their reply.........

Sorry to bring you any trouble.
Sorry it's not available, how about we refund to you first? Hope you can accept our sincere apology.
Best regards.

My reply is......

Not available? I would suggest that isn't entirely correct, as you are currently selling the identical item at a higher price........

Now if you had messaged to say that there had been an error in the original listing, that would be one thing, however you decided to say that the items were from a defective batch???

In light of this, I would like you to supply the items I have ordered, and at the price I paid thank you very much.

Just for a giggle I ordered one as well, and I'm getting the same "Please have a refund as we found they are faulty and we are contacting our supplier but we have none we can send"

So I've replied along the lines of "I can see your other listing and very glad you now have some new replacements ..... don't worry about a refund just send one of those good ones"

Got too much spare time on my hands obviously .... but what fun.....!

cheers

John

I've been exchanging messages with them along very similar lines. I've just received the following

"We're not sure if this item have any difference with the one you selected. We will check with the relevant department first. Do you agree?"

I have of course pointed out that they are exactly the same item in my reply

Hi Brian.
It looks like they have changed the item number above to this one below. Therefore covering them selves, I am sure if we all keep bombarding them with replies saying no I want the part not a refund, they may give in like you i sent for two, realistically i know we will not get them

Pretty disappointed my order was cancelled and refunded despite me protesting, looks like it will go that way for the rest of the people that ordered.
