Good morning Steve it is something you are doing to save your teeth

In 2009 I spent a week in a facial maxillary unit after a dental infection spread into the jaw and throat. I couldn't swallow etc. The docs had to cut out the diseased jaw bone and replace it with an artificial one, several operations. I lost teeth in the process, but after the surgery and having them removed it was the best thing that ever happened, as I have hardly ever had toothache since. A high price to pay as the artificial jaw bone was custom made in the US and putting it in was painful. The dental pain afterwards was unpleasant but manageable. I was lucky I had good surgeons and no complications. The downside is that it made me talk funny. Could have been worse, ending up with a camp lisp.....

Morning Phil. I have a superb way of avoiding visits to the dentist - I take my teeth out and post them to him for checking over and a quick polish

Still no nearer knowing when Ernie will shut the shop......However, hopefully soon I will be taking on another set of clients with the photography so I will be gone then anyhow when that comes up

Problem is, I reckon he is holding out until I leave full time for the other job.......that will mean he needn't pay me off
