See message 3 I only suggest this as I used to be a member of the Scimitar owners club [about 25 years ago]and we had several meets here, lovely old pub, next to river, big car park, good food, if over 5'8" you will bang your head on beams. But I'm open to suggestions. Do you all think a weekend or weekday evening? My only thought if a Sat night or Sun lunchtime every pub will be busy and if meals req and a load of us turn up the car parks and restaurants anywhere decent will be full?

Sunday afternoon best for me and a nice lunch, If we can get a list of names maybe we could book a table ?
