They're really substantial and definitely fit for purpose, much better than the originals,
Steve did have some pics of them here (post 12) but they've gone now. He might still have the original shots.

After painting the bumper before, I wasnt happy with the end result. It was barely adequate (adequate for rattle cans though, but only 'adequate' ). I decided to do it with my spray guns.

Wondering now, if I should leave it this VW Audi non colour, or use the mgr metallic non colour instead lol.

Today I sent the VIS motors off to stocktake to get refurbed.

Yesterday was a little different...

The car performed flawlessly, with zero faults. Very impressed with the chassis balance, provided a lot of bemusement to many I'm sure!

I now agree. However it leaves me in dillemma, as I wanted to just strip it and enjoy it.

But the thing is, its a 70,000 mile car in great condition, especially that interior! So once I've got it 100% I may move it on. Difficult decision though.

You have got a choice, it's one that many people I know have faced over the years. I talk to people these days and I might mention their former cars....."I remember that Cortina, Capri, Escort, Manta..etc...the reply is always the same....."I wish I'd kept it".
The ZT's are running out now and they're getting thin on the roads, you have a ZT and it's either part of you for fun or it's under your skin for keeps. It's a hard choice but only you can make it, stay and enjoy for a low cost or regret losing it when it's gone.

Bit the bullet today, and have booked the KV6 Connie in for its first mot in my ownership, Friday week. A bit like having teeth pulled when it goes in.Hope it passes because I will be putting the diesel on sorn the day before, which means no transport if it fails for anything.

Small things.
Yesterday I replaced the worn clutch pedal rubber and put flag badges on the front wings. Also ordered 2L of MTF94 to do my gearbox oil change.
Today it got a nice wash.
Tomorrow?
