Even better, save your money and buy something decent that will work as it should, in my opinion these are no better than the stuff radioguy sold.
And your opinion is based on what? People who bought units from Julian had nothing but praise for them but people who bought the Naval units from Radioguy had nothing but complaints about them.

TBH I'm not sure just yet, £300 plus for something made by a reputable company that will honour a warranty is a start, I've been looking at stuff from the big players but its expensive, I cant even flog this pile of junk to some unsuspecting person to offset the cost

Totally agree, my unit now is a Android 8 unit and I wanted to go back to Julian for an update. I have had full praise for Julian, its a shame he has stopped.

My opinion is based on the £238 I spent on one that started to play up less than 2 months after buying it, eventually it went back for a firmware update which was ok for a couple of weeks, then the problems with it became worse.

If it upsets you that I have a different opinion then scroll on by, don't try and belittle me.

It wasn’t belittling you. I have known Julian for many years and he’s honest as the day is long and it’s not right you say in your opinion without giving a reason along with your statement. Now you can scroll on

Your relationship with Julian has nothing to do with my post, it's about xtrons radios which is what I commented about. NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-

It's rare to hear of people having problems with the Xtrons units.I've had my WinCe unit with built in dab for nearly 2 years now and it has performed faultlessly. It replaced a Radioguy supplied unit which by comparison really was a piece of tat, particularly bad radio reception.I did hear of one person having a problem with one of Julians units and without quible he replaced it with a different unit of the customers choice. He provided first class customer service, unlike the other fellow!

It's a pity you didn't buy one of Julians units Clive, they are far better quality than those supplied by Radioguy in my opinion. As mentioned previously, mine has built in dab + and radio reception is near on perfect. Juluan fitted a shark fin antenna for me which made a huge difference to both dab and FM.
