I've thought similar with regards to the bmw engine. Especially that it's deliberately throttled down with a teenie tiny turbo and the injectors.
Did they not develop a 'state of the art 6cyl' diesel that they sold on to GM Europe that wasn't good enough for their own vehicles?

Then there's the catalytic EU3 to 4 that was taken into account in development but never implemented,possibly even making EU3 approval invalid in the first place
Look through any parts catalogue, there Should be a pre-cat.... Yet to see one


Back on subject though, yes! Get a 160 map done, it transforms the car

had mine done last year 160 bhp by big russ up west yorkshire what a difference well pleased rgds matk

Can someone contact me (BigRuss, marinabrian) to see if we can arrange a remap.

I'm very interested and since one of the (allegedly) best local tuners refused to remap my 2001 rover because of "update policys, they only work on cars from 2002 forward"

Is there a possibility to ship the ecu to get it remaped?

hola a mi me interesa tambien la reasignacion de 160,ahora mi 75 tiene la xpower de concesionario
