I think we can credit the Saudis and Russians for the drop in oil prices as they started a NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- contest on how to control the world price of oil. Saudi’s answer was to pump as much oil as they could and cause sufficient pain on Russia in the hope this would cause them to see the “wisdom” of the Saudi position. No sooner had they started this contest and the World went into lockdown to fight the latest Chinese virus causing the price of oil to fall off a cliff.

While I am jolly glad that you are happy about the slight reduction in the cost of using your legacy vehicles, it does still seem very expensive to me. For the last 6 weeks my motoring has cost been absolutely nothing as all the sunshine has meant I have sufficient electricity generation from our PV roof to cover all our home electricity needs as well as ensure the car battery is full - if only we could drive it somewhere to fully use on this free energy.

Can't remember the last time I filled up, but I know it was £1.2x when I did - I don't need to drive anywhere for work, but my partner is NHS / private nurse and I'm the chauffeur.

More seriously, the site's attitude to what our American cousins incorrectly refer as "profanity" is ridiculous. OK if the site was aimed at Telly Tubby fans, but surely inappropriate here. Do they think elderly fans of the 75 will get an attack of the vapours if they encounter the odd swear word?

As for free fuel for Golf drivers, whilst I agree that people so blighted are worthy of our sympathy, surely giving them free fuel would only encourage than to drive these ultimate dirty diesels even more when what we really need is to scape them ASAP to make the World a better place.

The Chinese have made the world a better place without all the rubbish that was being spouted by certain infinitesimal people. The new biological age has begun. You heard it here first..
