Default White Connoiseur diesel sold on EBay

Has anyone on here won the lovely white connie diesel auto with aubergine leather that sold for £812 tonight ? I've been watching it for a couple of days as it started at £99 with no mot and off the road since January. This would be my wife's dream 75 but typically it was all the way down in Swindon so a fortune to have brought home and with the two I've got I'd have nowhere to keep it. Pity as it looked an easy project with good MOT history and had a recent gearbox replacement.

How can anywhere within the UK cost a fortune to get something? Tiny tiny island. :-)

Default No MOT

The law makes no mention as to how far you can go for an MOT but we would suggest the distance is kept as short as possible because even though you are exempt from having a valid MOT certificate in the circumstances described above, if you are stopped by the police you could still be prosecuted for any defective parts on your vehicle e.g. exhaust, brakes and tyres etc. If you call in at shops etc. on your way to the MOT, it may be held that you are using the vehicle for other purposes and the above exemption won't apply. The further you travel the more likelihood there is of your vehicle triggering an ANPR camera and you being stopped. The test must be prearranged Cheers Bill

I traveled 1,000 miles using, plane, taxi and train to collect the ZT-T and 500 miles with two train changes to get the 75 Tourer. If you want a car bad enough you’ll find a way

I bid on a very similar car a few years back that was located in Kent. The car had a disability tax on it at the time. I bottled out when the bids went over £2000 . I've wondered if it's the same car but I didn't have a record of the reg number to check against it.
