horn blipping on locking car

The instrument panel warning light on for doors/boot/bonnet.
I suspect it could be the bonnet anti-theft device. I've had the car in the garage and the bumper has been off. When I press the alarm device under the bonnet it clears for a time, but it keeps happening. Any thoughts?

clean the bonnet switch and check the connections
