I've fitted Aero style for the past two changes (21" N/S and 22" O/S) which work well (never juddered or lifted) but I expected an improved life which didn't really materialise. I previously used the conventional style wipers with the O/S being supplied (for Rover) with the integrated 'aerofoil wing', these worked well but tended to judder when they got a bit 'tired'. I usually change every 24 months or so. |

Yes I've wondered too. For sure, my 75 had two 22" blades when it left the factory. They work right and look right, so where/how did the 22"/21" version happen? TC |

I agree Bosch blades aren't what they used to be, but then again, is anything that is made of "rubber" now days?
What do "they" do to rubber now? I've had a few tyres in the recent past which have turned to plastic. OK, they don't wear out, but you loose the grip! I'd rather swap longevity to upside down in a ditch any day of the week!

If the blades ever were of differing length, the factory must have changed to equal 22inch both sides at some point. I have a pair of genuine NOS blades in MGR packaging I got from an ebay seller part numbers DKC100940 and DKC100950 and they are both 22inches and one has the spoiler.

I found that the N/S wiper hit the lower corner of the windscreen trim on the N/S sweep. If I adjusted it a notch (or was it two?) over on the spindle so that it cleared the trim then it clashed with the O/S wiper on the opposite sweep.
