I’ve only seen good reports about him on Facebook, I’ve no connection with him nor do I know him and I’m only giving another side to the story. I’ve no doubt there was an issue with Dawn’s engine but other than that there has been no negative remarks about him

Let's just say I sit and watch most things from afar on Facebook and what you see is not always what it's cracked up to be the guy is a low end crook removing any of his critics leaving only followers

Buyer beware

That could well be but trust me Facebook is a place where you can’t hide and I’m sure information would’ve arisen on one or more of the proliferation of MG Rover groups

I do know other people who have not had good experiences. Some are happy though. If people want to do business with him that is of course their choice. I saved the conversations with him as he threatened me. Then he black mailed me into shutting up or he was keeping the cash he'd had out me. People take from that what they will. As the op got their reply I would say that's that.

Well said Dawn, a very dignified response considering what you went through

I've used him to work on my car a few times and also bought a few odd and ends from him, and had no problems. Obviously I can only speak from my own experience though.
I'm quite surprised to read about the posts on here as he always appears genuine... that said, I've never had anything go wrong with his service and therefore not had to complain.

As he is no longer a part of this group and so unable to respond, and as the OP has had contact, I am going to close the thread here.

Clearly there are fore’s and against’s. As a removed member however, we see no reason to promote his activities any longer within the club. It would seem facebook is the place to seek him out should anyone wish to do so.

Thread now closed.
