Default Miles for smiles

Yesterday I took the ZT190 for a 320 mile round trip which I dont think I have done anything close with this one since completing all the work over a year ago.

What an absolute joy it was. Smooth as a silk purse and pick up on acceleration really surprised me when I could accelerate hard. She never missed a beat and at 90 leptons on the motorways was a joy. My other cars are fairly meaty on the torque figures but I was impressed yesterday.

I even had the radio off at times to listen to the exhaust and engine notes.

Smiles for miles this "cheap" car when i bought it was worth every penny and more

I love the fact that at 70 when it's around that 3000rpm mark that the engine sounds it's absolute best, perfect for cruising.

On motorway trips, I take Jasper up to 3k revs, then leave the rest to him. Driving a 75 in comfort and style is one of life's great pleasures. He really is at his best cruising around 65-70, and he's a 1.8.

I had forgotten how good it could be tbh. The car is only used for commuting so this journey opened my eyes again

Im glad the 1.8 is as much fun

I was honestly surprised at how smooth it was

My ZT 180 Auto is only turning 2,250 rpm at 70mph - very relaxed cruising. Sport mode drops it to 4th gear and gives an extra 500 or so rpm for overtaking.
