Default Which Front Dampers for my 54-Plate ZT-T 1.8T?

Checking Rimmer Bros web-site, there's a wide range of options for front dampers for the ZT-T and 75 Tourers alone.

https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001543

So which are the ones I need for my car? Any guidance here will be useful before I buy replacements.

Later I'll contact Rimmers and see what they say.

Paper label under rear seat (passenger side) tells you what was fitted at the factory.

When you've ascertained which one you need and before you buy from Rimmers, check the price at All Car Parts Fast (o/w known as Endon). I did this when buying new front dampers and got Rimmers to reduce their price to that quoted by Endon. Having looked just now, the saving doesn't appear to be quite as much as it was when I bought, but still worthwhile.

Thumbs up My front struts have arrived.

Fair play to Rimmer Bros, my struts arrived this morning. Very timely as I can make a start on fitting them tomorrow. Could have done it today but had already started work on another car.

Rimmer's had certainly packed them well. To undo the top of the box required careful removal of two dozen metal packaging clips/ staples. Even using two screwdrivers to remove those large staples, took best part of ten minutes. There's more, they went into packaging overkill. As some of the images show.

Looking forward to fitting them.
