Misleading advert.
So this apparently is a Contemporary SE. However despite the fact the advert states it has cruise control, a closer look of the dash photo reveals no cruise button. In fact as Contemporaries go, it seems way too basic to me, considering my Connie SE has far more gear.

Misleading advert
It is a Contemporary SE (correct alloys among other things) although the ad is certainly wrong to say it has cruise when it hasn't. Cruise was optional on the Contemp SE being one of the extras available through the optional SE Pack.

The first 75 contemporary I went to look at had a non-existent cruise control advertised too ......
Also more importantly it was a manual advertised as an automatic ! And that was from an ex-Rover dealer too. |

I think those types of eBay ads are like the auto trader ones. eBay pre fills the spec in for you, the seller hasn't typed that.
He probably just clicked submit without reading through it. |

My car was advertise as Blue. No. It was Gold (gmn). Thought it looked ok, so went 80 miles to see it, and bought it.
