ZT rear springs
Rear springs "Comfort" spec for a V6 ZT are Light Green code - they are definitely not the same as the fronts. Got mine from Rimmers and fitted them with the DMGRS shocks and found them very good.

It replaced the original factory fitted items - nothing different. I had one broken rear spring and a leaking rear shock so replaced the lot last year for the MoT. Car manufacturers spend a lot of time and effort developing suspension set ups (look at the number of different spec springs and shocks that exist over the whole 75/ZT range) and my personal view is that you disturb those at your peril. The ZT suspension set up was developed by an engineer (Rob Oldaker) who had previously been chief chassis engineer at Rover from 1969 to 1993 before going to Cosworth and then Rolls Royce. He returned to MGR to work on the ZT. The ZT stylist was Peter Stevens who had previously designed the McLaren F1, so a huge amount of experience went into the design of these cars, and it seems to me that unless one has similar expertise and experience one should stick to what the experts have already done.

Yeah I wont be going for anything thats not oem.. the problem is that mine has the very early sport spring setup. Im looking at changing it over to the standard ZT setup which was called 'comfort' I use that loosely as im sure they arent that much softer! The problem is finding the correct springs to go with the shocks that come from DMGRS

I've seen your car in the for sale section. Looks really nice, but I'm not after it, sorry.
