Daily hack
Do many members of this excellent site use their ZT / 75 as a daily car and treat it as such? My 2005 CDti does 25k miles each and every year, gets a wash occasionally but is serviced as per the manufacturers requirements and wants for nothing. Worth not a lot but ultra relaible - it has to be.

Sure do, as reliable as any other marque if treated well.

Yes, mine is used just like any other car.
Not too many miles a year, but that's only because the load gets shared between 2 cars.

I have a tendency to use the V8 ZTT more than my 1.8t ZT.

My ZT 180 Auto does a round trip commute of 60 miles most weekdays with almost no reliability issues. On about 132K now - starts in all temperatures and performs well.

My 2001 CDT did 23,000 in the first year I had it. It has done less this year, as I SORNED it for the summer to change the clutch, and ran a convertible (that's why we had such a wet summer in Cumbria!) It was doing 350 effortless miles a week recently until it got stuck in the MoT garage yesterday, needing a new (2nd hand) SRS module; thanks Brian for the contact - one is now winging it's way from Tyneside to Penrith. My car has only done 134,000miles.

Yes. I only got mine in June, but have been using it for a short daily commute, as well as several long trips (business and pleasure). It is lovely. Totally practical and comfortable.

I used to mould the R8 plastics, we had an on site spray shop. For painting the exterior door handles, night fire red was always a pleasure to see layed out freshly painted.

My 75 doesnt get used daily. Although I do take it to work on occasion. I have a BMW 320 and a Ford Galaxy both diesel that get used the most between them. The 75 will be coming off the road over winter. It needs some odd jobs doing and I dont really want to drive it on salted roads. Its done about 700 this year.
