The standard aerial would go into the lower connection and you would have to get an extra din aerial to pick up the TMC channels on the black plug that is sticking out of the unit, this can be the windscreen type but you WILL need to get the TMC working and can be hidden behind the radio.

Chris,

the New Back design is true of all units with RDS, Analog TV and With RDS/TMC. BUT Your unit will not have a functioning TMC. They are not yet made. Only one was for testing and Tony has it. I am sure the Chinese seller told you it has it because usually they don't know better ! I checked it again when I saw your post, thinking maybe they made a few but according to my contact none were made with TMC because they did not know if the firmware/chip worked or not as no way of definitely testing it in China without TMC . We performed that function for them , here.

i folks,
I just got a statement (Finances) from my agent.

I want to explain something about fluctuating exchange rates

For those that prefer to pay in sterling.

What happens is that with £ it converts to US$ and Paypal is 4 Points below market because I can only pay China in US$ then they change The US $ to Yuan

Money is lost in exchange rates. So my website rate is Exorbitant About .69 (or 1.51) as I have to pass on these rates.

If you pay with Paypal In US $ , then you are subject only to Current Bank rates which are Close to Market. You save and I save. Otherwise Paypal and the banks are gaining.

A Unit with TMC On my website is US$ 561.00
British Pounds it is about £386 Which ends up being US$602.00
At Bank rates (Sept 15th/10) the $561.00 is £359.00 So by paying in US Dollars , you save £27

I don't see the point in making Paypal and the banks rich so I have remove the Sterling and Euro options from the site as it also makes my prices seem higher. If anyone wants to pay in sterling, please contact me directly to work something out.

THIS DOES NOT AFFECT PAID TRANSACTIONS, ONLY FUTURE TRANSACTIONS

Cheers

Sean
