Default Another highly successful visit to Terry Shaw of TS Autos 😊

I am just back from my pilgrimage to see Terry Shaw.

For a number of years, I have been looking to repaint or replace my 75's rear bumper.

I finally located one and collected it en route - not too easy to accommodate within the car!

Terry did a brilliant job, including retrofitting reversing sensors and painting the bottom strip Cowley black😊.

And in addition to all the regular annual service items, he sorted put the brake sensor wear - a warning light illuminated for the very first time in 14 years of ownership, as I drove through Birmingham - I think the car was telling me something😄.

So huge thanks to Terry for restoring my pride of ownership😊.

All the best,

Nicholas/Zircon

There are a couple of TS Autos in a Google search.
Where is he based and is there a web site address?

Hi Arctic ... sad to see youve left the T4 /magic wand wavers/laid down your magic wand ... thanks alot for your recommending Terry of TS autos , and many thanks for your awesome guides on the forums.
dare I ask in public ... thinking of future generations ... what is involved in the T4 , How much for the equipment, whats involved in the 'actuation' , aka, releasing the beast ... I am computer savvy, but mechanically naive ... i just think it would be sad if you guys leave the scene and leave a hole no one can fill ... you guys need to think about training up a future generation of wand wavers (ps, thanks for the referal to Terry, i now have what feels like a brand new car, and far more confidence in my car, and that all the money i've spent and am spending on it to keep it on the road, IS TOTALLY WORTH IT now it feels like a new car

Thanks for that Nicholas, no surprise that Terry has been able to help you out.

It should be remembered by all of us that those who have T4 and similar have paid out a lot to acquire them, and though all owners willingly offer their services, we should at least keep them supplied with "tea".

Hi Jon.
I am still very active in the Rover 75 scene, we have six meets a year link below.
https://www.midlandsnanomeets.co.uk/

I just do not have my T4 anymore, my full fat one i sold a few years ago, even then i still had a virtual T4 and a T4 lite but both have since gone, sold to members on here.

We have a T4 at our meets which is free when attending, mainly for fault finding tasks & health session.

Who knows if a really nice R40 came up i may own one again at the moment I am still in a Rover but it's a Landrover Freelander 2 i did have a Freelander 1 which had the same diesel engine has your car, that still comes to the Nano meets.

For those that are maybe having trouble getting in & out of the 75 now you could always opt for a FL1

Maybe see you at one of our meets cheers Arctic

Thanks for that Arctic, for the information and suggestion. A sister of mine has real trouble getting into my 75, and a higher chassis would help.
