Default Driveaway locking

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone knows how to disconnect the automatic driveaway locking, (which I don't know about anyone else but I find so annoying!) I would still like to operate it manually via the button. I'm presuming that it is possibly a fuse? Regards, Marc

Usually a T4 option. Mine has it. You need to have it on a T4

This AFAIK is a T4 option. On or off.

Do you mean the auto lock function at about 5mph ? If so it has to be done on T4 when you have vehicle serviced.
Why do you find it annoying? most passengers are quite impressed and if you lived in a country where cars are hijacked at traffic lights etc. you would find all cars auto lock. I have been in a queue of traffic waiting to pick my daughter up from a nightclub at 3am and the car I was in had not got this.
3 drunks jumped in thinking I was a taxi and didn't want to get out! I would keep it if I were you Dave

Testbook T4 is the computer diagnostic and setup equipment for our cars. Do as search for T4, some members own them such as Big Russ and offer their services at reasonable cost. You can have other options enabled at the same time.
I see you are in Orpington. EMS will accommodate you. http://www.mgr-service.com/ Well respected members here.

Is this a standard feature or an optional extra as I have never heard of and noticed this?.

Cheers

I was under the impression "on" was the default.

Daytime running lamps on or off (aka VOLVO!)
Speed locking on or off
Lazy lock and vent (using the door key not the fob) on or off
Single point entry (one press to open drivers door, second press for rest)
Headlamp delay on or off
Tail lamp delay on or off
Number plate lamp delay on or off
Intelligent wipe (wiper speed goes down a notch under 5 mph) on or off
Programed wash wipe (no program or 2,3 or 4 wipes)
One shot down on or off
One shot up on or off (drivers window only with 4 electric windows)
Bathrobe locking (car can be locked from outside with engine running
