Default CDT slipping clutch

Hi all,got a CDT 2001 tourer with just over 65,000 miles but clutch is beginning to slip under heavy load,to be honest I have had some quite ridiculous quotes to replace,my questions are this as I really don't fancy having a go myself what's the car actually worth

i had a clutch fitted last year by my local mechanic charged me 400 quid job lot inc parts but no dmf mine had 82 thousand on it at your mileage i would suggest it doesn't need a dmf as mine didn't 87 per cent of dmfs dont need replacing unless its really worn shop around for some prices luk are prob the best ask marinabrian to send u a link for the parts hes the bloke to ask rgds mark

Depends entirely on its condition.---

If it's a generally good and reliable car then get it done.

Never ask yourself the question what the car is worth. What it's worth on paper doesn't mean anything. If you can't buy a better car for the money that it'll take to get the job done, then getting it done is the way to go.
