Default finally got these.....(illuminated Sunvisors)

How'do Folks

I've been keen to have the Illuminated Sunvisors ever since I realised they were an option it's one of those unnecessary Must Haves

there was a Car at the Breakers with Illuminated Visors when I had visited previously for Bonnet Latches/Cables - and luck would have it it was still there when i popped in last time £10 the pair can't be bad.

they were a bit grubby but cleaned up like New

I wired them as Intended behind the A-pillar trim

I like them - and, my Co-Driver thinks they are Great

I believed all cars had the loom. I found mine at the bottom of the A posts taped up (which is where I believe most - but not all, people find theirs). You may need to feed the loom up to the corner of the windscreen.

it is amazing how noticeable the extra 10bhp these add I got mine because my ex was forever using the mirrors on the passenger side, and complained when the ZT wasnt illuminated. Yes I fitted them after we broke up. It is the little things that make them worthwhile lol

Is there a Mini-sub-loom spur connector lurking unused somewhere within the A Pillar as often happens with "options" on our cars?
Purpe/black wires taped up in the loom, both sides up behind the dash. There's a "How To" somewhere. https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=84555
With leds fitted

I've got illuminated sun visors on my ZT where the previous owner fitted fabric ones over the cheap vinyl ones. I just haven't got round to wiring them up yet.

I have no idea why I need illuminated sun visors...

When you are giving your teenage g/daughter a lift to meet her friends, then an illuminated sun visor is a "Must Have".

I fitted them for my other half. I don't need to know what I look like.

How'do John

there should be connectors taped up in the Loom beside the fusebox in the passenger footwell and behind the light switch module - Purple/Black wires.

I used my old bonnet release cable to pull the connector up behind the a-pillar trim and through the hole behind the roof lining

I thought I was Keen - I'm not sure I would manage to keep up with more than one car - it takes all my efforts to keep on top of the to do "list" for my 75 ..... should actually read - to do "Scroll" - as it never seems to end

I'd still love to have an Electric Rear Sunblind fitted - i've kinda taken this off my "Scroll" as i'm not sure I want it enough to go to the effort of fitting my Rear Seats are "locked" (Seat Back) which doesn't concern me r.e lack of folding for use - it does affect fitting a Sunblind and I don't care to take on the task of releasing the rear seat back first............. in the better weather tho...??? maybe

Do your rear seats not have the cord underneath to release the backs Paul?
