Be warned!
Sometimes, you get in your car and you think, I am at one with the machine. Other times, 'er indoors gets in and despite being complimentary about your pride and joy, throws in a random "what the soddin hell is that smell????" A split second after realising I wasn't being accused of trumping after baked beans for lunch, I had to concede she had a point, what was the weird smell..........
After blaming the 441 bus two vehicles ahead for chucking out a load of diesel afterbirth, the bus turned off and the smell got worse. I pulled into Tesco,s it smelt even worse, cross between new born baby nappy and those stinkbombs you used to get from Johnson & Clark's back in the day............the guilty culprit was..............?????????.....................??? ????? MY WASHER BOTTLE CONTENTS!!!!! Absolutely disgusting as about half way down the bottle, the fact my ZT was sorn for 9 months meant my concerns about the cambelt being due paled into insignificance compared to me not doing a smell check on the washer bottle, BE WARNED, this is a serious threat to happy ownership!! Keep it real guys, it's a short life........ |

Legionnaires warning!
Be careful with that stinky water, it might make you very ill. Pour some bleach in it to kill the bacteria, then flush it all out, a lot! When refilling, use an alcohol based screenwash to prevent germs growing again. |

Rich, can I say for the record, you are a legend! I will be undergaking some serious bacteria warfare, there are few things that satisfy me more than a 99% success rate so Domestos here I come! :-)

Don't leave any bleachy water on the paintwork after flushing the lines. Make sure everything is rinsed well.
The chances are that nothing bad would come from bleach on the paint, but the one time you ignore something, it all goes wrong! |

Thanks Andrew
Don't be tempted folks to cut the filter part off the rubber grommet. Ive seen that so many times. Any debris in bottom of bottle will clog up the jets. Filter is there for a reason !
