My calendar says that Mothering Sunday is on the 10th of March 2013. It looks like you are wrong again.

This year 2012 it did full on the 18th of March 2012

Just checked and of course you are right but I feel the the heavy type and underlining is a bit over the top!!!
In that case I'll be visiting my Mother have a good day...
Seems a poor choice of date to me...
Cheers Ian

It would seem that Derek is right having done a google search, but as Windrush often uses bold type and underline, I don't think any ill feeling was intended Ian .

I can't believe we hadn't spotted that We'll speak to the venue to check availability for the following Sunday anyway, but as a place to take your mum it ain't bad.

Watch this space, and we'll update the thread if the date changes

Now where"s my coat?

Well you did say it would be more family orientated so what better day to start than on mothering Sunday. :p

Of course, I'm kidding.

Thanks for the imput Paul..
And I'm sure that fifty years ago mum would have enjoyed the day out, however at 98 it may be a bit much as she is getting a bit unsteady on her legs & can only get to bingo twice a week now!!!
Cheers Ian
