Wooden Mercedes on E Bay
A 1:1 replica of the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL has been spotted on eBay. The replica was built completely out of wood... well, teak to be exact.
Hand-carved from a craftsman in Duisberg, Germany, the classic wooden Mercedes model features only headlights that aren't exactly the same as the 300SL, however everything else is spot on. It maintains the original sports car's length of 4,520mm, width of 1,790mm and height of 1,300mm. Though it doesn't run (obviously), the Mercedes-Benz 300SL replica does look spectacular. The company was asking €5,850.00 though it appears it may have already been sold.
