Ive noticed and have read from others that certain petrol stations are profiteering from this by hiking up there prices. A certain garage by me has gone up 5p per litre
I hope people remember this when things go back to normal and bouycot these greedy parasites

This is a typical queue in Harare.....

So don't feel too bad if you have to wait awhile here at the pumps!

Sorry, but it wont be up to the government to solve the "strike that is not and may not happen".It will be up to the unions and the employers to sit round the table and come to some compromise.

As I said in my first post in this thread, im completely cynical about anything that the government say. We are merely sheep to them, we're just cattle. Once everyone has been out and filled up they'll announce that strikes will be minimal, but hey look at all this nice weather we have, perfect for a trip to the coast. Might as well use up that extra fuel you bought.

I have almost 600 miles to drive over the Easter weekend and financially commited to do so (bookings/tickets paid for).

I cannot affod to brim he car until just before then, nor can i store that amount of fuel just in case.
if the government decide to prioritise essential services then i should be ok even though i will be limited to £20 a visit i can visit 5 times to fill up

but unless the government take these steps, i may well be in trouble. Not a happy teddy bear

I see the first person has had an accident decanting petrol in their kitchen. 40 percent burns.
Well played, Francis Maud.
Wonder how he sleeps at night?

Default Petrol Crisis

What a great shame, as somebody has already mentioned, would not have happened if the country was not panic buying,

Both petrol Stations near me, have run out, a supermnarket and a Local Total garage.

Everything bone dry now where I am.
This government are so cynical.
They had a bad weekend with the donor dinners story...
Then growth forecasts were slashed was in the news the next day...
And the same day they suggested hoarding fuel happened to be the day when there was a story that the economy is back in recession.
Funny that...

This whole things has been manufactured to make bad news go away.
A whitewash in other words

They treat us like we are no better than animals or servants
