Precisely. Got to draw the line somewhere. I'm fed up on being taxed.
The day will come when cyclists will get taxed, just because they're breathing too much ffs.

Oh dear, bad news for me…

After the POL and National meeting we have planned a tour in the UK, an estimated trip of 3000km (1875miles).

Driving with 300liters of fuel in the back of my car is not safe for me and my wife, but also not for the people in the UK nearer than 150meters of my car.
It would be nice if I could get some sort of favour in return. I hope there can be a ‘free fuel for Rob in the UK’ thread opened and organised by a moderator so I will not run out of fuel during this trip.
Moderators please feel free to PM me for the route. Any fuel left at the end of the trip will be refunded of course.

See you all at the POL and National meeting.

Rob.

I saw them queuing right out the car park of a local Tesco this morning for 135.9. A mile down the road there's a Texaco selling at 141.9, it's always sold at this price might I add(rural garage), and it was dead so I filled up there. The difference in price worked out at about £1.50 for the amount of fuel I needed so I'm not complaining as my time is more important today and I can spend it better without queuing for all that time.

The only reason I filled up is purely out of routine, not panic buying.

Rik.
