Right everyone. Filter came today and all fitted. My dad will take it on a long drive tomorrow to see if it works. Fingers crossed! Will let you all know how we get on. Thank you all.

Hi Andy
That should solve the oil from pushing out of the dipstick tube, remember to check you do not have to much oil in the car.
