Well you can only accurately compare like with like.
Different brake pad manufacturers tend to use slightly different compounds in the pad material. Some appear to have metal in the mix and I've seen a film of rust on pads that are not on the car. This might make these pads vulnerable to rust expanding the material and unsticking it to the metal back plate. In use no problem but stood in unused damp might trigger delamination from the backing.---- |
