Default intercooler pipe

hi just put my ztt back on the road after nearly 2 years sleep and the intercooler pipe keeps blowing of the egr blanking plate and smokes really bad when I put the foot down do I just need a new pipe or is there more to it ?

Wipe the EGR blank, also inside the hose, fit a new jubilee clip and hopefully it will stay in situ.

If is old and swollen then get new one like this below, do you have the one section intercooler hose or the two section one with the boost sensor in line.

If the later you can cut the hose above to fit.

its a one piece I will try that but I think it could be old cheers

I would also fit some new Viton O-rings on the intercooler bend that fits into the intercooler it's self at the same time, good luck let us know the out come.

cleaned up the bypass and pipe put 2 new jubilee clips on so far its ok did the o rings few years ago

Great but keep your eye on it , as most likely by now the intercooler hose would be ready for a change, when you do change it over or even before re-visit the O-rings to make sure they are still ok.
