Apologies for the no show. Got stuck on the A3 (twice) so diverted off near the tunnel and went for a long drive and picnic instead. Was a lovely day.....weather wise.

It was good to see some of your cars, decided I need to work on mine lol.

Thank you to the organisation team for setting it up, a good time was had by all, even my son who is a biker enjoyed himself!!!

Another excellent meet. Thanks to Ian and all who made it happen. Great venue and wonderful hot sunny weather. Great to meet and catchup with the usual crowd and to meet 'new' faces.

Default Great Meet

Hi All,

Congrats all round to Organisers and Volunteers for a great National Meet, excellent venue, full of nostalgia for steam railways, rollers and traction engines.
Thanks to Rev Jules and Dawn for bringing Lillian along to the meet and looking after her over the weekend. Got to know a lot of members had not met before. Three or Four have agreed to come to the Ugly Duckling Breakfast meet 20th May. Reigate Horsham and Herne Bay locations spring to mind.
Came back across country took 1.5 hours. On reflection should have followed Nobby's advice. A3, M25, M4, guess I may have saved half an hour.

Peter.

Cool

Home from another great National. Lovely to see Lillian again, I hope the Hells Angels have recovered.

Congratulations to Liilian for winning the Windrush Trophy, such a fitting tribute.

Also congratulations to Brian for such sterling commitment to have attended all 25 Nationals.

Well done to all that won something in the raffle.

And thanks to everyone who turned up in there fabulous cars.

Hope Mickyboys number plate stayed on on the way home.

It was a round trip of 188 miles in ole Yella. The M25 was clean and green all the way home, no hold ups anywhere.

As others have already said, a fabulous meet, with terrific weather >

A lovely moment when the Windrush Award was made - I'll bet Derek was looking on with pride .

I'll post a few photos in a day or so, once I've sorted them, but in the meantime, a huge thank you to all involved in arranging the day, it really was a huge success.

Cliff
