High
Very high number of owners (6 previous i.e. 7 ) for a car with that low mileage. Wonder if all is not well with it?
Looks good but I would be a bit careful... Chris |

Some cars do pass through a few keepers hands, probably due it high insurance and or fuel economy, bought as a cheap runabout and then realized.
Strange spec, cruise and park sensors, high line NAV, connie wheels and mirror caps but still a club! Y plate yet its got the black sills and bumpers? , I expect it would have been cheaper to buy a standard Connoisseur? MOT History confirms mileage to be correct...and its only failed on usual things, plus a broken spring, rusty brake pipes (on a 75 would you believe) etc There's £50 worth of genuine rubber mats in it for a start! Could be a bargain and a bit "different", that colour looks stunning when well polished. |

Strange spec but that’s not unusual from MG Rover as we all know...
I think it’s stunning and MOT history looks good, too. Has had a few owners but some cars are just like that.... Stunning looking car. Love the colour.

I think I know the reason for the strange spec if my experience is anything to go by.... If you worked at or had a close relative who worked at BAe then you could get a discount on a car. I think the discount was 15% on a Connie but 25% on a Club. However all the extras were discounted at the same level. So my Club had leather seats auto and hiline sat nav, so the spec was similar to the Connie, with the only things missing being cruise, electric seats, front fogs and rear blind being the bits I didn’t get, and I saved probably 2 or 3 grand. And 17 years later I still drive it most days, thanks to the help of Big Russ and his T4 and great knowledge of 75s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agree on that one Richard, I worked for a Rover dealer (2001-2005) so we were entitled to the staff discount scheme, it was cheaper to buy a base model and add options....we bought Mum a new 45 Impression S 1.4 and added bits on to it...my aunt had a 25 auto, the IL model had 25% off yet the IXL (more expensive was more like 10%) so they ordered the L model with optional aircon and we fitted them a CD!
Hope it finds a home. |
