Pity peoples pension have been run down wherever they work. Plenty of money in the economy to pay for good pensions for all.

We were also taught that technology would increase our leisure time, and we would probably retire earlier. (Remember computers still hadn't been invented then) What has actually happened? Because the population is falling, we can't afford to pay pensions, so we must work longer. And in order to maintain our lifestyle, we now have to work double shifts, including our wife's, who back then, didn't work at all. Isn't progress great😄 |
