Rolled out my new beauty a few weeks ago after its 7-year slumber.

28,000 miles averaging just 1,600 miles per year and she's truly immaculate. Previously owned by a collector who had three ZTs - two KV6s and one V8, all low mileage. I very nearly bought two off him but decided it might be greedy as I already have a Connie.

I plan to bring it out and use it each summer for a few months and store it the rest of the time. If the 5th September meet at East Kirkby airfield in Lincolnshire is going ahead, I'll be there with her.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has a lower mileage ZT.

Dougie.

Hi Doug

Nice ZT
I'm afraid I have 2 lower miles !!!!!

75 Connie with 5k DRY miles.
Royal Blue with Sandstone.

190 ZTT Aurora Monogram program with Oxford Cream Nappa
11k dry miles ........still shiny bolts underneath

Both last seen on stand at NEC Classic show few years ago.

I must get them out again sometime to blow the cobwebs off but so little time to use all my toys

They are sublime to drive, you don't realise how good these cars were when they were new

Jules, I'm genuinely thrilled to hear the mileages on yours!! Just glad there will be great examples in existence for many years and decades to come.

02 plate, its vin 002 but was used at Longbridge as a test bed before being registered in 06 and sold off. The build data shows her as the 1st ZT 260 SE but it also shows she is Starlight Silver when she is the only one in Zircon.

A very good question, apparently from what I can find out it was facelifted at the factory either to be sold off or as part of its test bed life. However she remains on straights. There are a few other idiosyncrasies such as the gearstick is to long, the cubby above the radio is different, the carpet over the transmission tunnel doesn't quite fit properly but these are all part of her history and as such will be kept just as they are.
