Default Any Good???

Just found this on E Bay 370158736393 just wondered if this would any good as other MAF sensors ive seen are quite expensive and having become a victim to the "credit crunch"(redundant) i need to save some brass!! the part number that it replaces is MHK 101130

Shameless spamming, I thank you

Seriously though, for the extra £19 or so, I'd go with RoverRon's tried, tested, and proven MAF.. All us burner boys use them..

That is correct, you need at least the MAFAM box to make Ron's maf alternative work.

I know it has been suggested in the past that these cheaper mafs are not great but I guess they are very cheap. I suppose it depends how much life your car has left in it as to whether or not they are worth the risk.

I am going to get one off Ron this week as it happens but only because I already have the Synergy2, otherwise I would be tempted to get one of the cheap ones as well. Might be worth checking if they have any kind of guarantee.
